1920’s London in Colour

In 2 weeks I will revisit London, and this video is just so beautiful, it has inspired me to go to all these places and film it from a modern day perspective to see the contrast.

A wonderful way to bring the past back to life with this colour footage of London in 1927. It was shot by Claude Frisse-Greene, who made a series of travelogues using the colour process his father William was experimenting with (info from the link below).

Highlights include London Bridge and Petticoat Lane. New favourite word: Travelogue.
